Have you finaly seen Bosco Verticale in Milan ? No? So, you have to. It is the World’s First Vertical Forest, I think and I really like it ! I allways wonder of this fantastic architecture, it is situated near the Unicredit Pavilion where the press conference was held during the Milan Fashion Week – in february 2017. Už ste videli Bosco Verticale v Milane ? Miestečko, kde zrazu vyrástol les? Úžasná štruktúra, architektúra, ktorá ma vždy očarí, znova a znova. Táto energeticky riešená architektúra sa nachádza hneď vedľa Unicredit Pavilónu, kde sa konali tlačové konferencie počas týždňa módy v Miláne pre novinárov a akreditovaných ľudí.
Green vertical towers Bosco Verticale are the residential towers – Vertical Forest in Milan Porta Nuova district. The structure was designed by Boeri Studio (Stefano Boeri, Gianandrea Barreca and Giovanni La Varra) and officially opened in october 2014.

The 27-story structure integrate plant life into their facade and is the world´s first vertical forest. On November 19, 2014 Bosco Verticale won the International Highrise Award, a prestigious international competition bestowed every two years, honouring excellence in recently constructed buildings that stand a minimum of 100 meters (328 feet) tall.
27 podlažná štruktúra v sebe obsahuje život – rastlinstvo, ktoré zdobí jej fasádu a tým vytvára akoby svetovo prvý vertikálny les. V novembri roku 2014 tento odvážny projekt vyhral cenu International Highrise Award, prestížne medzinárodné ocenenie, ktoré sa udeľuje každé dva roky na počesť nedávno skonštruovaným vynikajúcim projektom vysokým minimálne 100 metrov.
In this project, the trees are a key element and the types of trees (including oaks and amelanchier) were carefully chosen. They had to fit with their positioning on the facades in terms of height, all plants used in this project were grown specifically for this purpose. The diversity of the plants and their characteristics produce humidity, absorb CO2 and dust particles, producing oxygen and protect the building from radiation and acoustic pollution. This not only improves the quality of living spaces, but gives way to dramatic energy savings year round.
Kľúčovými v tomto projekte sú stromy a všetky typy stromčekov, vrátane dubov a muchovníkov boli starostlivo vyberané. Rástli po dobu dvoch rokov a boli starostlivo pestované v botanických záhradách práve na tento účel – svojím umiestnením, výškou, teda všetkými proporciami a parametrami museli ladiť a perfektne sa hodiť, zapadnúť do tohto projektu. Rôznorodosť rastlinstva a ich charakteristické vlastnosti majú za cieľ produkovať vlhkosť, absorbovať kysličník uhličitý a pohlcovať prachové častice a produkovať kyslík a chrániť budovu pred radiáciou a akustickou hlučnosťou. Toto nielenže zvyšuje kvalitu životného priestoru, skrášľuje mestskú štvrť a samotné mesto, ale zabezpečuje aj celoročné výrazné energetické úspory.
Each apartment in the building has a balcony planted with trees that are able to respond to the city’s weather – shade will be provided within the summer, while also filtering city pollution; and in the winter the bare trees will allow sunlight to permeate through the spaces.
Každý byt v tejto štruktúre má zazelenaný balkón a je schopný odpovedať na meniace sa počasie – poskytuje komfortný tieň v čase letnom, filtruje znečistenie od mestského smogu a prachu a v zime holé stromčeky bez lístia umožňujú slnečnému svetlu preniknúť do priestoru.
